(702) 486-0350
(888) 890-8211

If you have to file using the phone system, remember that 30 seconds after 8:00 A.M. the lines will be full and you may have to wait a very long time to speak to someone. It is not a good idea to use your cell phone because if the call gets dropped, you have to start over, at the back of the line. Unemployment Phone Center

You will need the same information needed for the online process above to file by phone.

At the end of the process you will have to swear that the information you gave is true. You must then stay on the line until an agent comes on and goes over your claim with you.
If you need to call them because you have a problem with your claim, choose 'Option Three' and wait for an agent.

About the Debit Card:

The unemployment website says there is no option for choosing payment by mail or by state (Wells Fargo) debit card. This is not true. You will get the option, if you let them know you have trouble cashing the checks. For the convenience and ease of use the debit card is the best bet for most. You will receive your funds much quicker with the debit card than you will a check by mail. Typically, if you file your claim early on Sunday your payment will be posted after midnight on Tuesday. You can also choose to be notified by email when the funds are deposited. The card can be used anywhere a debit card is allowed. When removing funds by ATM you must remember that you can only remove funds in multiples of $20.00. Also, any balance remaining on your card under $20.00 may be withdrawn by entering Wells Fargo & requesting it.

BE NICE TO THE AGENT!
They can be very helpful.
Or not!
